** spoiler alert ** This picture book is about a young boy who travels the world in order to experience the different homes throughout the world (mostly America). He learns about different types of living, from igloos to trailer parks, apartments to mansions, bird’s nests and more. Throughout all of his travels, he learns the ultimate value: home is not where you live, but where the heart is. No matter where he travels, bed or not, his home is only where his parents are: back in the apartment city of New York.

The book is written in a simple style that definitely fits the age range of two to seven. My seven year old, who does not like to read (the horror!), would find this book entertaining and engaging. Kids being read to will love the artistic flair and the ability to explore the world in a safe manner. The author does an excellent job in areas of modesty - even in places where people are one would assume (I know, I know - not P.C.) a less modest attire the reader is going to find the peaceful pictures have appropriate attire
