Living with a SEAL: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet
This book was pure comedy gold. I'd read about it in a Tim Ferris book before, I think, and it was even funnier than I'd thought it would be. Jesse Itzler had a pretty forgettable, short rap career in the early 90s under the name Jesse Jaymes, then somehow became one of those freakishly successful young entrepreneurs and married the woman who invented spanks and is super rich today. But also pretty funny and adventurous and active, and he just had a wild hair up his ass and invited this Navy Seal he met running a race to come live with him for a month and make him more badass. Throughout the book the Seal is simply called SEAL, but at the end in what's probably some kind of post-script, it's revealed that the Seal was David Goggin, who is pretty popular in his own right and has the reputation of being a hardass to a point verging on insanity. Recommended for everyone who likes comedy.
