Born of Treasure is the second book in the Treasure Chronicles following Clark and Amethyst search for Clark's father's inventions.

Recently married Clark and Amethyst are touring around trying to find the rest of his father's inventions. However, Clark has seriously doubted the Army's desperation to get him and when they finally discover he was hiding out at the Treasure farm they start forming their plan of attack to finally have him. How will Clark get out from the the Army's control? Will he have to sacrifice his freedom for the Treasure's safety?

This book is an enjoyable read, however I feel it was less adventurous as the first one and left a lot to be desired. I was also left a bit confused because I don't understand what the last chapter was suppose to be about. If it was suppose to be a jump in time, the author did not put whether it's suppose to be further down the line. It had to relevance to what happened in the previous chapters.
