Kresley Cole does it again! This book was funny, enchanting, and action packed. It’s packed with highly unlikely, fantastic situations that only happen in novels. But Cole really sells it and I’m freakin' buyin' it! I'm in love with Bowen and Mari. Nucking Futs Nix is still the best. I can’t wait to see if she gets her story. The valkyries are wild and totally believable.

My favorite part in this book is when Nix is explaining to Bowen what a mess he would have on his hands with Mari’s friends if he didn’t rescue her. Here’s Regin described as Mari’s friend…

“But then for Mari to disappear on top of that? Nix asked. She too is one of Regin’s friends. They are poker buddies, sisters of the Wii, and Mari is a vaunted member of the karaoke contingent. Regin has long acted as the witches’ designated driver.” (pg 72)

Now that is friendship.
