A very gentle and lovely read, well written, set in Paris, following the thoughts of a sister who is dying and how she copes with her family's sense of impending loss. Also giving some insights into the lives of the artists Edgar Degas and Berthe Morisot, and the writer Louisa May Alcott who lived at the same time and were friends of her sister and family.
