it was amazing

I so enjoyed reading this book and being in the heads of two sisters, Rose and Lily. I loved Rose for the way she tackled life with determination and a fierce independence, and I loved Lily, living in Limbo-land with her muddled dreams, and you just know there’s heartbreak ahead for her. The relationship between the sisters is warm and utterly credible, and very well portrayed.

When Rose makes the shocking discovery that she was adopted, she embarks on a mission to discover her the identity of her biological parents. Once critical of Lily’s fanatical attitude towards her goal of getting pregnant, Rose realises she herself is in danger of becoming similarly obsessed in her search. Nevertheless, she is desperate to know the truth.

IGNORING GRAVITY is very enjoyable read from beginning to end. The warm story will tear at your heart strings one moment, and make you smile the next. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Peter If I ever need my heart strings torn I now know which title to turn to Wendy, thanks! That said, I am not altogether sure that I like having my heart strings fiddled with at all...
