Manifesto of the Communist Party

That was the stupidest thing I have ever read. I had to continually remind myself that the writer lived in a time when there was a ruling societal class that didnt value the lives of anyone but their inner circle and no possibility for advancement. Even so, the anger and bias that seethes from the writer does not allow him objectivity. He cannot truly justify his suggestion to take personal property without thowing out some vicious jibe at the ruling class. He lays out his thesis in organized chapters but never completes the justification process. Its like he was just kicking against his chains. The best part of the whole manifesto was the passion displayed at the end when he appeals to the working man, although it is kinda empty because he never makes a clear, concise case for the manifesto. Time has proven this attempt at "social freedom" as inept and non productive but it still scares me to think that so many smart, passionate youth are blindly headed towards the views expressed in this writing simply because they are dissatisfied with our current government. God help us!
