Two bunny friends, Felicity and Cordelia, have different ideas about what fun is. Cordelia likes to stay home and Felicity wants to go on an adventure in a hot air balloon. Felicity heads out alone, while Cordelia worries that her friend is not warm enough or is hungry with not enough food. Felicity does indeed have adventures in the hot air balloon, but eventually the balloon sinks to the ground and Felicity must find her way home. While this sounds all wildly exciting, the adventures are in fact very basic and the plot moves very quickly. The plot and word choice are often downright abrupt as the story moves swiftly along.
The illustrations in this picture book are soft and nice, but nothing spectacular. The story is a cute one about friendship, but there are other, better offerings out there.
