it was amazing

Oh Gerry! She follows 1920s advice from women's magazines, and with a shortage of males around after WWI when a talk dark drink of Texan turns up at her bookshop (love it that she owns a bookshop in England) then that's when the story really starts. The setting is then taken to Texas, a ranch that Gerry has inherited half of. So well researched, except Gerry is so concerned about being a lady that I was screaming at my Kindle! The story was perfectly finished off, and made me feel the love of reading.
