cris cheek, the London-based performer/poet, lived in Baltimore at the home of Ro & Kirby Malone for 3 mnths or so in 1979. This was a prolific time & this bk was probably produced then. There're 3 different sized pages. This collaboration may've been done under the name of "..Y,Z...". This is basically a free-form very playful bklt of scribbles: scribble drawing, scribble writing - some traces of Festival of Disappearing Art(s) programs: the word "Jackson" (from Jackson MacLow), the words "of t he Opera" (from my own "T he Phantom of t he Opera"). Phrases appear like "4 stomachs one for each leg" - presumably taken out of context from a nature bk - or maybe not. I imagine the 4 collaborators sitting around, laughing, smoking pot, drinking, putting this together, having a good time, happy to have some new little thing to give to their friends. Field writing of cross-pollination. It's possible that the title of the bklt is "What means 'of production'" & that it shd be credited to "donna potato the clumsy & laszla wobblo" - but there might very well not be a 'correct' title or credit. "Is that because when it got decided he got mad and went through some high-level high-power bullshit and now they're reper-cussing all over her?"
