In the previous installment of the trilogy, TOUCHING FATE, her older sister changed Iris’s fate, causing her to dump good guy Wade for bad boy Josh. Iris tries to rekindle her relationship with Wade by having him tutor her in math. She comes across her sister’s tarot deck and becomes possessed by Crina, the fate changer who cursed the Van Buren family. Wade, along with Iris’s little sister Daisy, must rid Iris of Crina’s spirit before she gains permanent possession and kills Daisy and Wade in the process.

Having read the books out of order, CURSING FATE, completed the series for me. I liked that each of the three books had a different focus, and each of the sisters and their partners were unique. The middle sisters, twins Iris and Violet, do not possess the ability to change fates, but Crina uses Iris to work her magic. CURSING FATE does a great job of addressing the chaos from the fates that were altered in the first installment and setting up the final story with Daisy as the heroine.
