really liked it
bookshelves: fiction

Amusing for those who care more than avarage about french post-structuralism. It's framed as a detective story about the search for an allerged document that describes the "seventh function of language" (Jacobson), but it's mostly gossip, short presentations, free speculations and fiction about all the famous french philosophers around 1980.

The book goes from realism to surrealism, with the french 1981 presidential campaign as a backdrop.
