really liked it
Read in February, 2012 — I own a copy

I love retelling of Austen books, but cannot read Austen works. Seen all the movies. If anyone knows of a good retelling message me, but I really like Shannon Hales's Austen like atmosphere books as crazy as they are. What I like about this is the love story and Miss Charming. The story was not as strong as was the first Austenland , but it still in some ways had the same charm. The love story is pure fantasy and still made my own heart pitter patter. But the story overall, was pretty weak in the sense that things were farfetched and the main character, "Charlotte", was no "Jane". I also found the mystery and flashbacks of this story to be pretty boring. In the end loved the humor, the love, atmosphere, and side characters. Not a big fan of the mystery, the flashbacks, and Charlotte herself.

Princess Allie The mystery aspect of this story is kinda getting on my nerves. I do like the men so far though I have been fooled in Austenland.
