really liked it

I didn't know what to expect on this one, I chose it from the eBooks section of the library because it had an "e" word in the title and I need a "e" to finish one of my challenges. It is a thoughtful, somewhat "coming-of-age" story about Tony, who has a very odd relationship with a woman named Veronica. It is told from Tony's voice, speaking directly to the reader. Tony is thoughtful and retrospective. Veronica is a horrible communicator and constantly keeps Tony guessing, which perhaps is what makes her so intriguing to him. Death seems to drive the story, which describes the title. It is short, but a good read.
