Sounds like a children's story about three brothers; Simeon, militaristic and power hungry; Tarras, money-minded merchant; and Ivan, a fool. I'm not so sure what the message is but it rougly points out the virtue and benefits of being kind, good and also a fool, as well as the disbenefits of being smart, clever and greedy. Quite funny too.
