This book was a fascinating, quick read. From the dramatic opening, with the 5mph escape during the moon rock heist, to the back story, this book was exciting and rich in details and info. I'm not a huge true-crime fan, but this was more intriguing than some murder or kidnaping tale. And full of adventure, romance, science, and great depth of character development. Love the details of the inner workings of NASA and the space center -- wish I could try that sci-fi shower! You really feel Thad's sense of loss over being disowned by his parents, his determination to succeed in his new career, his drive, his sense of adventure and need for the adrenaline rush. You also really feel how much he loves Rebecca and how devastated he is by their separation. A compelling read.
