really liked it
bookshelves: audiobook, british, childrens-lit, kid-classics, fantasy, read-in-2011

I've never been able to get into the Narnia books, but a couple people had told me they were really good on audio. And sure enough, I really liked this one that way. Aslan is still super irritating (while one-dimensionally evil characters can be kind of fun, I automatically hate one-dimensionally perfect ones who are idolized by the other characters). I know Aslan the Christ-like lion is going to pop up in every single book, but I do think I'll read...well, listen...on.
