Perfectly acceptable contemporary romance with a bit of a mystery/suspense plot thrown in. As usual with JAK the characters were likable and the dialogue was good. I enjoyed the book for the most part and probably would give 4*s except for two things. One is silly but it did hinder my enjoyment - the hero's name is Max Fortune. Really? I kept flashing to the Simpson's episode where Homer changes his name to Max Power because he decides what's holding him back from success is the name Homer Simpson. The second thing is a bit of a spoiler (view spoiler). So anyway, those things bugged me, if they don't bug you it's a decent read.
