Blunt and Truthful
This is the first I have read the author. He communicates in a forthright way... not sugar-coating anything. He reminds me a bit of Tozer. Or maybe even Andrew Murray (whom I love reading,) but Torrey has a much more grumpy-old-man kind of way. This is worth a read for everyone - even if you don’t agree with all or like his style, there are truths in here about prayer which should resonate.
