really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary

Well Lordy, Lordy, Lordy. I think I might have just overdosed on swoon! This self published book was much better than I expected. I enjoyed reading about the characters and Brenna Blixin was a fabulous voice, always wanting to do the right thing... But sometimes not being able to. This book was very easy to read, nothing to think to hard about apart from how hot Saxon was, and how hot Jake was. I almost couldn't cope with this love triangle because when Brenna was with Saxon (sexy, smart, sarcastic Saxon), well I really wanted her to be with Saxon and I was crushing on him in a major way. But then when she was with Jake (sexy, sweet, kind Jake), well... I really wanted her to be with Jake .... And you guessed it, I was crushing on him in a major way!
I had a fun time reading this book, it is the kind of book that you might read while sitting in the sun on holidays, and it is the kind of book you might read if you need a bit of swoon, lip action, and bodies pressed against each other.
And I never thought I would say it, but I think I need to read something now without any swoon!
