it was amazing
bookshelves: read-in-2011

I think this might just be a masterpiece. The style is unique, the messages are powerful and the ending is both extremely powerful and thought provoking.

The story of a father and daughter in a near future dystopian society where music and free speech are supressed, this story is a simple vignette of an event in their lives that has vast repercussions.

This book is like none I have read before and has really stayed with me after reading.

I strongly suggest this for any fans of dystopian fiction and suggest it even for people who don't enjoy dystopian fiction.
