This series is an absolute hoot! In volume 1, Timmy finds an ad to mail order his own personal ninja, none other than Jiro, the ninja hero of his favorite graphic novel. With Jiro at his side, he defeats the bullies in his school and takes the class presidency away from rich snob Felicity Huffington, who vows revenge.

In the even better second volume, Felicity crashes the school dance with her army of ninjas, including Jiro's arch nemesis. Felicity takes over the entire town, brainwashing adults and forcing students to bow to her whims. Only Timmy and a handful of rebels can rescue Jiro from the dungeon and defeat Felicity.

This is a very quick and easy read. The characters are fabulous, the humor is great-including a lot of fun wordplay, and the author adds cool little details for readers to find like calling Ebay Ebid and naming L. Frank Baum Elementary as Timmy's school. Highly recommended!
