Uhhhhhh....hmmmm...meh? Not annoying, but not endearing? Something like that. The mysteries are too vague and the characters are too distantly portrayed to understand their motivations. Why do the adults act the ways they do? Why do the kids like each other and mysteriously know things? They would really Jack "graft" into a family even if it meant a loveless existence?

Interesting ideas--vaguey schmaguey execution of ideas with some group therapy resolutions to some vaguely defined earth force identity crises. I was expecting and hoping to like this story better, so that probably added to my disappointment.
