Having received this book about a year ago now, I didn't actually get the opportunity to read it completely until recently. Given the state of the current economy it was certainly an interesting read. Porter analyzes the way companies, governments, individuals and societies as a whole value not only products, but faith, life, our futures, etc. With a timely analysis of the current housing bubble and the following collapse of the US and world economy, the book provides readers with a wide-ranging approach to the current economic outlook.
