it was amazing
bookshelves: comics
Read from December 13 to 16, 2011

Chris Roberson has crafted a beautiful tale about a zombie. The second volume of IZombie is amazing. The story starts with a short story about Gwen before she dies. The cute little story is a fun little monster story about crossing a haunted lake. Then Spot(Scott)gets a highlight. We learn about his origin and who his grampa is. Plus we are introduced to a new character, Mr. Chimp. The next three comics in the collection is back to the regular story and following Gwen and her friends. Her budding interest in the monster hunter boy and the mystery behind Amon and his past. The last issue follows Ellie and her story before meeting Gwen.

All and all the second volume was packed full of new characters and new adventures. More mysteries are being made and that can't be a bad thing. Michael Allred's art is beautiful like normal. Just seeing his art is worth reading this comic, the fact that theres a good story to go with it is just awesome.

If you're a fan of Allred's art this book is for you. If you like zombies with a little bit of heart this is the book for you. If you like werewolvies, but not wish they were more cuddly this is the book for you.
