I read it so long ago, not sure I remember too much. Love seems to have a genetic component, even among prairie dogs. We love our families--or do we just have an interest in seeing our genes survive...

Love alters the structure of the brain.

Most importantly for my personal life was reading about the brain wave patterns of a depressed person and hearing that a healthy person moves away from these patterns. Guilt reduction....I am a healthy person (or healthier than he was anyway).
