First, I need to confess that Jane Josephs is a fellow writer in my local critique group and I had the privilege of seeing this book come to life through the pieces she shared in group. That said, I hadn't read all of the book before and, hopefully if you have been following me at all, you know that integrity and honesty are vitally important to me. I have given less than stellar reviews of friends' books in the past and even declined to review a couple that I felt weren't ready yet. Being my friend does not gain someone a great review from me. Being my friend means I tell it to you how it is. Also, I purchased my own copy of this book. Now, with that said ...

The Ruby Knot is absolutely one of the best contemporary romance novels I have read in a while. Don't start this one before bed unless sleep isn't that important. These real characters will grab your heart and keep you reading to find out how it all works out (It did this to me even though I already knew who she picked!). With an authenticity you don't often find in this genre, this story tackles a sensitive subject with grace and skill. This inspirational romance will not disappoint. I highly recommend it and eagerly look forward to reading more from this author.

Seriously, you guys. This is a great read. Don't miss it!
