it was amazing

Gore, guts, gloom and glory…welcome to the world of James Vella-Bardon’s hero, the Lynx of Haarlem, Abelardo de Santiago. Set in late 16th century Europe where life is cheap, loyalty is precious and the Spanish have a healthy knack for pissing off everyone they touch, Abelardo, a reluctant Spanish soldier, blessed with deadly accuracy when armed with a pistol, has one mission – to avenge his wife’s brutal murder. I won’t spoil the story, but here’s all you need to know, with The Sheriff’s Catch, James has created a story of nonstop action in a gruesome historical setting. He brings the savage world of 1588 to palpable life with punch and flair, leaving you with no choice but to feel every cruel blow of wicked misfortune inflicted on our hero as he chases his vengeance. Can’t wait for part two. Great work James!
