it was ok
bookshelves: graphic-novel

I just read volume 7 and 8 because I picked them both up from the library at the same time. But I've decided this is where me and the Lumberjanes part ways. They're still a fun read for middle graders, but I mostly picked this up for Noelle Stevenson because I loved Nimona, but she hasn't been on the project for several issues and it's just not doing it for me anymore.

I don't have a problem with the Lumberjanes, I still think they're great role models for young girls and as a girl guide leader, I love the camp and girl power themes. But they're starting to get repetitive now and the characters aren't really growing anymore. Plus the art work is constantly changing and I find it a bit hit or miss.
