Meh...I thought this book would be better than it was. I love reading novels related to cooking/baking and didn't read the cover flap far enough to see that the main character brings ghosts forth when she makes their recipe.

And the big secret? Not that big. And not sure how it was kept a secret either. Every time they stumbled across something intriguing, it turned out to be nothing, or a very under developed story line or character.

The only thing I enjoyed from this novel was the actual cooking sections. The main character's obsession with food and recipes was up utmost interest, and I enjoyed how she explained what she was making and the tips that she learned from reading blogs and books.
