liked it

As with any collection of short stories, I liked some more than others. This is a collection of stories about love — not love stories — and most aren't wildly original, but are entertaining none the less. Some had turns I loved and didn't see coming. This was such a quick read/listen that I listened to the "Paris for One" novella twice. The first time around, I couldn't get out of my head how much the story reminded me of the movie "The Holiday," (sorry if you read this before the book and will compare now too!) particularly Kate Winslet's character's story. But I love "The Holiday," so oh well. The second time, I was only thought of this story though and not the movie it originally reminded me of so it eventually did take its own shape for me. 3.5
