it was ok

Not my cup of tea, obviously. I appreciate how LeCarre immerses the reader into the arcane and ambiguous world of the cold war spy. Like them, I didn't know whose side the characters were on. The complexity of the world portrayed in this book was an amazing literary achievement, but i must admit I got lost trying to make sense of it.
