really liked it
bookshelves: fantasy

Coraline lives in an old home and realizes there is a locked door in the drawing room. Even though she is warned not to, Coraline opens the door and finds another world that she likes a lot more than the world she lives in. When Coraline returns to the real world, her parents are missing. She realizes that her mother in the other world took them. She makes a deal with the other mother that if she finds her parents they get to leave the other world but if she doesn't then the other mother can sew buttons on her eyes and she will live forever in the other world. This book is scary for elementary school students. I will only allow students to read this book if their parents allow them to.
