How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence

It changed my mind! This book details how psychedelics have been grossly misrepresented and misunderstood in our society at large. Because of this misrepresentation, we have lost decades in which we could have been conducting legitimate medical trials. Blame it on Leary or blame it on something else, it doesn't matter. The world needs to get psychedelic research back on track so that we can more effectively and compassionately deal with some of the hardships of life like helping those who are dying from cancer or suffering from depression more fully confront what's going on in their lives.
