really liked it
bookshelves: drama, reviewed, america

I'm usually not much for modern authors and their down-to-earth realism, but that's because most of them never create any sort of psychological or emotional interest. This is one of the rare works about the Simple Tragedy that I found true, funny, and inspiring. It's no Chekhov, but what is?
