Interesting premise--Theo Cecil is a half black widow looking for a husband in order to ward off her son's creepy guardian. Theo is business-minded and she runs her farm like a pro. Ewan is the son of an earl, a former soldier, and a playwright. He and Theo used to be involved.

I liked that the heroine was working class--now middle class--and a woman of color. I liked that this was the Regency era. I liked that the hero was the second son. There were elements I guessed early on and the tropes were kind of obvious, but overall, I liked the story.
