Conclusion:
I was disappointed. The book is filled with many 'introductions' written for books that N. Gaiman was asked to praise and many speeches he has given for literary events.
His interests with the golden age of comics was not what I was looking for in this book.
Musings about books and authors that influenced Gaiman at an early age and also later in life were the best essays. Neil Gaiman is undeniably a 'master wordsmith' but I would rather read his books that read about books he is asked to promote.

Great (audio book) while cooking in the kitchen this week.
I do have to skip some 'musings about comics and its golden age'.
Just not interested."
