I always enjoy Karen Robard's books, and this one was no exception. It got a little repetitive, with the main character Kate lying to Tom and them beating around the bush about their feelings for each other. However, it was a really good book overall and I enjoyed the suspense that the book has. Without giving too much away, believe me, if you read this book, you will continually think that Kate's situation/predicament couldn't get any worse. It does! I love how strong of a female character she was and I was constantly agitated that she just couldn't spill the beans and be honest with Tom about her past, especially since he seemed to have a knack for figuring some things out on his own. This book is hard to put down and leaves you in suspense until the very end. I did think the ending was a little bit hurried and that she took sort of an easy way out with the last chapter. Still enjoyed it though!
