I enjoyed this book. It was interesting, and I learned a lot, but it was hard to get into at times because the narrative was not always in chronological order. Rather, a lot of the chapters just seemed to be independent observations about Saudi Arabia not really tied to anything else in the book. Not that that is necessarily bad, it just prevents it from being the sort of book that you feel like you absolutely cannot put down. Still, worth a look.
