Kisscut is definitely one of the most if not the first most graphic of the grant county series of books by author Karin Slaughter. To warn this book contains some very graphic and at times almost disturbing material.
However that very fact is what keeps you on your toes and your mind sharp while turning page after page. It starts off with Sarah Linton and Jeffery Tolliver on a date at the town's skating rink when something unspeakable happens that has Jeffery making a very tough and unthinkable decision in the rink's parking lot and once made has the whole town whispering in each others ears as they watch events unfold. Meanwhile Sara is in the skating rink's bathroom covered in blood trying to figure out how the teenage girl in the parking lot holding another teenage boy at gun point is connected with the massacre she's kneeling in. This book is completely mind blowing in the way it keeps you thinking about it even after you've put it down(that's if you can put it down anyway). The beginning chapter of this book, of which I reviewed is only mild compared to the intensity of this almost demented and twisted book. Make sure you read this geniusly written book, you will most definitely not be disappointed.
