really liked it
bookshelves: scifi-n-fantasy

What if what you dreamed could change the world? What if someone else found out? The premise of this gorgeous little novel could be the next YA hit, but in this case it's a smooth-edged fable, a meditation on creation and story telling, and a darn good story with a lot of heart.

Because it's LeGuin, it's also brilliant. It contains one of my all time favorite quotes, with stuck with me outside of the novel itself:

“Love doesn't just sit there like a stone; it has to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new.”

I particularly recommend this novel for people who love to weave or receive stories.
