it was amazing

Garrett is a man whose past has a stronghold on him that he can't seem to escape, and he's hurting from it. Unable to commit to any sort of real relationship and constantly finding pitfalls at every turn, he meets Anjuli.

Anjuli is in the midst of having fun with her life, of dating and learning to express her wants and needs. She's strong and assertive, at least on the outside. When these two meet, there's chemistry, but it might not be enough. Especially when the words "no strings attached" are uttered.

Their relationship, as breezy as it's labeled, isn't without its hardships. Garrett drinks to forget the pain of the past and his drinking is reeking havoc on his professional and personal life, nothing ends well for him. There's one thing for sure, he's absolutely enamored with Anjuli, she's beautiful, no matter the age difference between the two.

There were moments in The Navigator that I wanted to reach out and smack Garrett because I know that hole he is in all too well. Then there were moments that were endearing and sweet, and then downright *hot*. Especially when Alexander introduces a new roommate for Garrett, Chase. While part of a series, The Navigator is a complete standalone, and it's a book that fans do not want to miss.
