really liked it

At times hilarious, at times a meditation - often both at the same time...and that's pretty difficult to pull off! O yes, and it's also a travel story, a psychological portrait, it's politics and religion (again often at the same time), etc.

This highly quotable gem of a novel is my Graham Greene darling. A book to read and reread. And not only in Spain.
