it was amazing

I first read this book in middle school and I loved it. So when I went back through and read it, I liked it even better the second time. Bub, Not Buddy is about a little boy, who's growing up in a tough time, right in the middle of the depression. The 2 main stuggles throughout the book are Bud being black, and also he is Motherless. After running away from his abusive foster home with pretty much nothing, he decides to set out and find who he knew was his father. The adventures in the story are great and the details are so touching. I really recomend this book!
