Fantastic writing that flowed quickly and easily off the page. I found myself loving the character of Eli Sisters, though he is an assassin and performed unlovable tasks.

This could easily have been a five star book if only it didn't feel like a series of short stories that are left wanting for a connecting thread. I lost track of how many characters were introduced in one chapter only to have their story sewn up and never return.

Still. What a ride. Only such a unique voice could make me overlook the flaws. And overlook them I have.

Allison Wow. That was fast. Seems like seconds ago you marked it as to-read. :)
