Suzie Quint does it again! In Knight of Hearts, she brings us back to the McKnight family and into the life of the oldest girl, Rachel. Rachel has always come across as the Ice Queen, but she wears that shell to protect her very soft and tender insides, and a terrible secret (no I'm not going to tell you what it is). When her best friend's brother Mac comes to Galveston and needs help "getting a girl" now that he's divorced, he asks for Rachel to coach him in the art of dating. They make a deal; she'll coach him if he goes to her brother's wedding with her and pretends to be her boyfriend to throw her mother off the scent. The only problem is Rachel's brothers Sol and Jake warn Mac off. Too bad it's just an act. Or is it? Quint writes a great story about love, trust, friendship, and the value of family (even when they annoy the hell out of you). Pull on your boots, set your hat, and get ready to Texas Two Step (Mac can teach you ;) ) as you return to the McKnight family in Knight of Hearts.
