it was amazing

This is a story I've been dying to read for weeks! I'm delighted to say I was finally able to indulge myself over the long Thanksgiving weekend! The action grabs you straight's odd to explain, but though a horrible tragedy is how the romance in this story actually comes about. The characters are thoughtfully fleshed out and are as close to multi dimensional as can be. And not just the two mains, but many of the periphery characters as well. My personal favorite was Father O'Malley. The writer explains and describes the surroundings as if you were watching a movie- I saw, I felt, I smelled, etc. It truly felt like all my senses were being stimulated. There were theological themes relating to God, heaven and the afterlife beautifully weaved throughout the story. TO ME it didn't feel preachy; it simply left me thoughtful about those huge universal questions we all have about life. Overall, I loved the story and about 3/4 way though the story you need to grab some Kleenex. It left me satisfied and wanting more!
