Being a girl, I am compelled to read this thing every so often and you can't stop me so there.

While Austen is wordy for our time, I don't think it's any mistake that this book is as popular as it ever has been. Why? Having seen the BBC production, you read the whole thing with Colin Firth's shirtless person running around in your head. This is not a thing I usually care about, but neither are romances. This either results of Austen's genius or Firth's manliness. I have no idea and I don't care. Just keep all the other romances away from me. They're icky.

In any event, why are you reading this review? You've already read this book like three times unless you are a boy in which case you read it once in school and now you have, I don't know, biographies of war criminals to read. Go have a nice day, kids.
