it was amazing
bookshelves: chapter-books, autobiography, fiction, realistic-fiction

This is a great book for boys. There are so many personal aplications that both boys and girls can make to this book. It would teach students about different styles of writing. It is a biography, a diary, and includes many comic strip. I think that it could be a base for students to try different styles of reading. There are a lot of pictures that go along with the text, so this would not be a good read aloud book. However, students would be able to read this and participate in literature circles. That is what I did. This book brings up many topics, such as bullying, video games, family relationships, and school. It would be an excllent converstation starter for students who have a hard time enjoying the typical textbook.
