Kristine Cook's Reviews > Peter Pan
Barrie's classic about never growing up endures to this day, probably thanks in part to the scores of children who view the Disney version. There is a significant difference in the feeling of the book, with more violence and deeper characters who aren't as cleaned-up. A good book for parents to read to their children, as those younger may struggle to get through the "old-fashioned" prose. The sparse illustrations in this edition add some additional interest.
